Hey Strangers!
How is it already December? I genuinely don’t understand where the time has gone. It feels like every time I blink, another month goes by. We’re weeks away from 2025, which feels like madness. This year has brought so many new experiences, including, but not limited to:
- A second book release
- My first out-of-state book festival
- Traveling to new cities with friends
- Meeting more readers
It’s been a wild ride, and I’m so happy you’re along for it.

Strangers in Our Hearts (Strangers # 2) has been out for about a month and a half now, and the reception has been everything! I’m so relieved. I took some big swings with the sequel and was nervous about its release, but so far, it seems to be a win!
I can’t thank you all enough for following along with Gemma and Theo’s story, and I hope you’re interested in seeing what’s next for them!
I haven’t started writing the finale yet, but I am rereading books one and two to ensure everything is tied up nicely by the end of the series. I’ll be drafting in 2025, so once I’m actually writing, I’ll have updates for release dates and whatnot. Until then, I hope you bear with me!

I have two events coming up this month:
Breakfast with Santa and Vendor Fair
Sun, Dec 15th
8 am – 12 pm
at the Olcott Fire Hall
&
Holiday Book Fair & Exchange
Sat, Dec 21st
10 am – 3 pm
at the Walden Galleria Mall
If you’re local, swing by and pick up a signed copy (or more) for the book lovers in your life! It’ll make an excellent Christmas present. 😌🎄 🎁

I turned 32 last month, and the day after, I started physical therapy on my jaw for TMJ lol. This is 32, I guess?
I’ve suffered from TMJ symptoms on and off for years, but in times of high stress, it’s unbearable. Not a lot of people knew about this, but the weeks leading up to book two’s release resulted in a lockjaw, to the point that I couldn’t even eat. Hence, the physical therapy!
I’ve been doing better post-release since the stress has significantly lowered. But going twice a week and learning exercises to stretch out my muscles from my shoulders up have also done wonders.
I knew it was time to see someone since stress is unavoidable, and I can’t have lockjaw every time there are bumps in the road.
So, here’s to growth and finally listening to my body! One step at a time, right?
Other than that, there isn’t much to report. We’re taking care of our sick kitty and hunkering down since the snow has finally arrived. I’m not a summer person, but I’m definitely not a snow person. Give me the rainy months, the thunder, the gloom. I do my best thinking then.
A final life event note: it has nothing to do with me, but the Buffalo Bills are the AFC East Division Champions for the fifth consecutive season! 10-2 baby!

Since last month, I’ve finished Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros, The Rose Society by Marie Lu, The Dividing Sky by Jill Tew, Hollowthorn by Kalyn Josephson, and I finished reading and annotating Strangers in Our Heads (Strangers # 1)!
I’ve moved on to annotating Strangers in Our Hearts (Strangers # 2) and plan to outline the finale as of the new year once I finish skimming through all my research books. Then the drafting can begin! For fun, I’m currently reading For You and Only You by Caroline Kepnes and The Boyfriend Countdown by Tori Samuels.

Since Spotify Wrapped recently dropped, I figured I’d share my top artists and songs of the year. Manchester Orchestra and Arctic Monkeys are coming in at # 1 and # 2 for two years in a row now… shocker! (But seriously, if you don’t listen to them… you should.) Also, I’m SHOCKED that Des Rocs beat out Rainbow Kitten Surprise because they’ve been on repeat. And Paris Paloma… well *chefs kiss*

I recently restarted Ghost Whisperer… I’m not sure why. All I know is that I finished another rewatch of Schitt’s Creek and already rewatched Gilmore Girls earlier this year (I’ll go through both shows yearly), and I needed something for my lunch breaks.
I don’t watch TV or movies often, but I need something. So, here we are. It’s been at least a decade since I’ve watched it, so it’s funny to see which ghosts I happen to remember.
