Hey Strangers!

This is a fairly short one since I don’t have a ton of updates right now, so let’s just dive in!

Round one of the edits has been turned in to my editor, so I’m waiting to get round two back. It’s been a nice reprieve being off deadline, but I’m trying to cram a lot of stuff into my “downtime,” so I’m better off when round two does come back!

Also, I will announce the cover reveal and release date on social media on July 19, so you guys will see it first one day prior! So expect another newsletter this month on July 18. You’ll just have to keep everything secret for a day. 🙂

You can also add Strangers in Our Hearts (Strangers # 2) to Goodreads and Storygraph now!

As always, and for any newcomers, a reminder: I have two book events coming up this summer/fall:

But for all my local people, I’m working with Lock City Books again in Lockport to set up another release event with them. This time, the event WILL be on the day the book comes out, so that’s exciting! More info to come soon.

This past month came with more birthdays and family celebrations, but the biggest event was going to Lockport’s FIRST-EVER pride event. I can’t wait to see it grow each year, and I’m happy to help support it in any way I can!

Since the last newsletter, I finished Disciples of Chaos (Seven Faceless Saints #2) by M.K. Lobb and started A House with Good Bones by T. Kingfisher and Your Blood, My Bones by Kelly Andrew.

This week’s obsession: It’s Called: Freefall by Rainbow Kitten Surprise. Paris Paloma also does a great cover of it.

I finished S3 of Bridgerton, and that’s it. Even while off deadline, I still have no time for TV, and it’s sad. Haha. I’M SO EXCITED to watch the newest season of The Bear, though, when I do get a chance!

Wayward Daughter

Genesis Belle would do anything to leave the monster hunting world behind—even make a deal with one of the world’s most accomplished hunters: her mother. All she has to do is kill the creature lurking in the shadows of their town before her mom does. If she wins, she can follow her cross-country road trip dreams without slaying monsters on the way, but if she loses, she’ll have to keep working at a hunting outpost masquerading as a dingy diner… continue reading.

Bloody Spade (The Cardplay Duology Book 1)

Bloody Spade is the first installment in an anime-inspired urban fantasy duology that follows a snarky cat-eared thief touched by darkness and a softhearted girl with the power to cleanse it as they try to navigate his wild magic, her hotheaded brother, a sinister plot, and the feelings they’re developing for each other… continue reading.

Culinary Confessions

Madelyn Jones has always wanted to take over her aunt’s bakery. For her dream to finally come true, she has to bake a wedding cake for a customer and nail it to perfection. Luckily for her, her best friend, Justin, is in town, after finishing culinary school. He decides to help Maddie out and the pair start working on the most perfect wedding cake they can muster. But between sugar flowers and tasty fillings, the two best friends slowly understand that there is more than friendship lingering in the air… continue reading.

Please take note that this is a system to spotlight other indie authors per their request. These titles have not been vetted and readers are encouraged to do their due diligence beforehand.

Until the cover reveal, friends!

Stay strange,
